The City of Council would like to stimulate all area residents first and foremost, to be involved with and take action to, enhance their community and “protect” the quality of life that makes Council, Idaho such a special place to live and work.

The City of Council encourages the support of community development through improvements in infrastructure and community services, and economic development through business development, retention and expansion. The community should continue to develop the link between the education of our youth, the employment of our youth, and the strength of the community.  We recognize that a consistent practice of managed growth will help maintain and even improve our current rural lifestyle.
